WOW from me too, what I would give for the heights of LaPalma. Really weird double ringed crater there with lovely smooth lava flooring. John.

Another splendid Image Nick. The surface looks very smooth in this one. Almost as if it had been polished. Just the impression I get, so you can ignore me.

One other point though. If you liken the black shadows in the craters to the Umbra of a Sun Spot, there appears to be a penumbra too. Is that real, or a process anomaly.

A processing artefact Ron. You'll see it on a lot of Lunar images where there is high-contrast. If anyone knows a way of avoiding it during processing, I would be interested to hear...
