Hello one and all...

Fast approaching retirement from the daily grind, and looking forward to some quality time to pursue lots of projects that never quite got off the ground up till now. I was surfing around and saw this forum and was immediately impressed by the apparent professional appearance. Very well done to all concerned. I currently live in the environs of South Lanarkshire, although if this turn down ever lifts, we'll be off to the sun in Gran Canaria...Roll on some form of economic recovery...I am in the process of treating myself to some gear for star gazing and hopefully some kind soul in the help and advise forums will be able to put me straight on one or two things I have no real idea about. Soon I hope to be posting details of terrific sights.
