I'm just on the Hampshire side of the Hants-Surrey-W.Sussex border. Quite near the Hindhead tunnel works.

Thanks for the warm welcomes guys. This site is already a nice place to be my user name is an adaptation (created by my brother from another mother) of the nickname Blink (given to me by my other brother)

My kit list at the moment is... compact

4" Helios refractor on an motorised EQ5 mount (slight overkill, but I got it for the price of an EQ3)

A few eyepieces, barlow lens, 90deg mirror, Meade electronic eyepiece

A few filters inc a nice new solar filter

A bracketty thing for afocal photography

Plus lots of home-made touches/nick-knacks as I like to be creative.
