First Jupiter.

SPX350 F13.7, EQ6, DMK21AF, 2xCelestronUltima working at 3x.

Jupiter is above house roof where seeing is a bit dynamic to say the least but I gave it a go and got a bit of detail considering but no GRS or impact scar. Nice to see Jupiter back at last and I can also see Venus and Mars low in the East.

RRGB R=1680 frames GB=900 frames. 23fps 0.24"/pixel.

Thanks, JohnH.

Thanks all for comments, I am so pleased to see Jupiter back after a few years too low so I cannot complain about the roof top just par for the course I suppose.

Hello Mike, my SPX does dwarf the mount somewhat but the 20kg scope on the mount slews very well and autoguiding with OAG for deep space gives no problems and long fl for planets is very steady. EQ6 is at full payload capacity and I need good polar alignment but no problems so far.

John.
