Constellation Fest

The skies cleared late yesterday evening and with the Moon washing out the sky, I decided to do some static shots instead of using my main imaging rig. I nipped up to our local church and spent a good while taking shots from different angles. It must have looked a bit odd to any passers by as I crept around the graveyard painting the church with my torch during the long exposures.

The Canon 50D and Sigma 10-20mm gives a great field of view and there are a whole raft of constellations in the pics.

Ursa Major and Ursa Minor

Moon and Jupiter

Cygnus, Lyra, Aquila, Cepheus, Lacerta, Cassiopeia

Bootes, Corona Borealis, Hercules, Serpens Caput, Canes Venatici.

Delphinus, Vulpecula, Sagitta, Coat hanger (Asterism)
