Leo triplet

Hi all,

Managed to grab a rough shot of the main Leo triplet (M65 and M66, NGC 3628 ) on Sunday Night (another couple of M-object's ticked off the list !)

poor but my first effort on this group,

2 x 60 seconds 1600asa Megrez/EQ5/350D

as Phil says you got them Al ,its so hard lately getting enough time up there to capture any long exposures , but you done well to get that mate .

Your image prompted me to go looking for them in last nights black sky.

Dialed them into the DOB and there they were, first sighting for me

yes it looks not too bad LP wise only go there in the daylight really although been next door observing and that aint a million miles from his is it now?
