SharpCap fails with missing instruction set, SSE4.1

Anyone know of a fix?  other than buying a new computer !

It might help if you gave some more info about the computer.

Umm possibly ! but I have googled SSE4.1 and it seems to be a well known Intel chip issue. I suspect it is a problem with the compiler or MS runtime bundle that the Sharpcap author has chosen to use, so I am not hopeful of a fix, it sounds terminal but any info on any computer throwing up this error with SharpCap might shed some light.

In all my years it is a new one here so Sharpcap gets an award for that !lol!!

There is a post on this issue on the Sharpcap Forum. The CPU is more than 8 years old  and does not support the software.

If your CPU does not support SSE4 instructions then flat frame correction will not work

What version of Sharpcap are you using as a fix was introduced when using flats. version 3.2.5825 and above

4.1.11711.0 downloaded in Jan so not looking good.
Dont know the age of my chip but the win7 folders were created in 2009 ! so it is 15+ years
