Hi, my name is Vince, I'm 55 and have recently purchased a celestron Explorascope 114AZ (from Argos) and also got a 5" digital eyepiece from temu.  I used it last night to take pics of the moon

Meant to say, it's well worth getting a moon map. This crater is one of my favourites, Gassendi, the small crater on the side of it is from memory 60km across so it gives a very good perspective of the size of things.

Welcome!  From about 20 minutes away!  It's not been the greatest few weeks for observing but the Moon did look good.

Fortuitously, last night was the first American Lunar landing in over 50 years so you chose an interesting moment.
