Rima Hyginus and crater Maginus (26/06/2023)

Hi all,

Yesterday after struggling to capture some UV data of Venus, before giving up for the early night, I decided to relax for a while by taking a look at The Moon. Two features captured my attention:

Rima Hyginus with its trail of impacts (center right):

Crater Maginus showing quite dramatic shadows (top left):

Hi @Mr Spock, you made me look for the rille system, which I haven't paid attention before. This is such a nice way to learn about the surface of the Moon.

I am particularly drawn to the shadow detail cast by the Montes Apenninus to the top left. Very nice.
