Well, it is interesting that prices started to move. One may suggest that the IMX571 chip has been the biggest game changer for amateur astrophotography in a decade (but now I am sticking my nose out🤫)

It's certainly in a different league from any CCD OSC I ever tried. I think you might be right. Currently we have the ZWO edition and the TS version is due here this week. Both will be working at F2 so it will be hard to make comparisons with older rigs.

Just been looking at this as this may solve one of my problems but couldn't find any info on it. If you remove the tilt plate, I don't think you're left with any means to connect a filter wheel? Unless you're connecting directly to the camera instead of M48 thread? Has anyone tried this? Would be keen to understand how to do it.
