Partial Solar Eclipse 25th Oct 2022

Just finished the best of the partial solar eclipse on the 25th Oct. Taken in hydrogen alpha and Calcium IIK wavelengths. Battled trees and high cloud to start with but cleared for the Calcium IIK images and the last in HA..

Wow, those are superb Nigella. The ones after you cleared the trees are absolutely stunning.

Very nice Nigella. Best one I got a-focally with my iphone at maximum coverage. Used 2” Lunt wedge, with Baader contumuum filter, but edited out the green incredible hulk colour you normally get of the sun with it. Can make out 4 sunspots which isn’t too bad considering I was holding the phone by hand.
