Jupiter with Io transit

First sketch last night with mediocre seeing, second one this morning at the end of Io’s transit and less turbulence. Both with a C8, at 225x and binoviewer (2x9mm Vixen LV):84E45ABA-55C8-49A2-A253-EC50AD8CF79E.thumb.jpeg.46b6153b783b98b870feaaccc7dea4e6.jpeg

one thing I find difficult is to keep up with the plant’s moving surface clouds. Hence some features may not be in the exactly correct places!

Nice sketches @Froeng, not easy to do and you’ve captured the main elements well. I checked on SkySafari and you are pretty close! One thing I noticed was how the gap between Io (and its shadow) relative to the GRS grows as they move across the disk.
