After a very mixed day, weather-wise, it blew clear and stayed reasonably steady tonight - for once!

This is 1000 frames per channel, LRG&B, 25% stacked. Asi178mm / APM 107/700mm

Of my recent lunar imaging, this might be my favourite. I think the luminance layer has really brought it to life? I'd got out of the habit of doing L with my old scope, as it tended to exaggerate any CA, meaning it needed some heavy handed clean up

The same image, just rotated. I'm not sure if it's more pleasing this way round, but it fits a PC monitor aspect better for viewing 🤷‍♂️

An absolutely lovely image.  Great details and fantastic colour!   For this one, the second orientation takes the cake.
