Getting real difficult to get any detail of worth i am finding here. Over my neighbours roof. But thought it was worth trying after Venus

Jupiter is now at highest point At sunset. Wont be long now before its approaches the sun.

Looks good to me Neil. Are you running long AVI's and using Winjupos? I'm still struggling with that one. You are obviously having fun with the new 8 inch Stella Lyra. Good practice for next year !!

Thanks Trevor. No not with this. I do use winjupos when i feel the images have a lot of promise. But for me that was weeks ago with the 10"

This was a 3min capture. I did tend to prefer doing video de rotation. Rather than image de rotation. Personally i found it easier. But unless the laptop is fairly fast. it can take sometime to process a 5 min video. By de rotating.

That' a good set of images considering the conditions. Lots of detail visible like the row of white ovals.
