Where can I get a replacement Worm Gear for my Vixen GP mount?

Hi Guys,

Unfortunately my R.A. worm gear on my Vixen GP mount has been bent in transit

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for this...anyone from FLO please 🙏

I’d be tempted to take off the silver collar and gear and try to carefully bend it back into shape.

I have, but unfortunately it bobs up an down engaging and disengaging 😟

maybe if you know someone with a workshop lathe could re centre the spindle for you. I did see on astroboot some worm gears but they where for EQ3 at 25 euros but don't think they are 144  ratio?

There's a thread around here somewhere that suggests turning the worm shaft around, so that the bent end is out of the way, and the gears/clutch can be attached to the other end.

Found it. It's for an eq5, but might still apply:
