Saturn and Jupiter 6/7th August

A combination of poor seeing, clouds and wind made a difficult session. Hard to focus on any fine detail, but good to be imaging these giants again.

This was my first session of the year now they clear local trees at a "reasonable" hour. C14, ASI 224MC + ADC

Nice work Peter, conditions have been pants recently but still worth getting out there as you show.

Good to see you back posting the gas Giants Peter. Seeing being the limiting factor. Out of interest Is that three x five Minutes captures of Saturn  image derotation ? Nice shots

A good effort Peter we need some good seeing to come our way, the conditions are lousy at the moment!

Neil, the imaging was 3 x 8000 frame subs at 50fps, so about 160 secs each, but spaced out over the 18 mins with gaps because of clouds scudding by.

They are very good images Peter considering the conditions you had to endure.  Nice to see you back for the start of the new season.
