If they had the better spec lens retaining ring fitted and the collimation checked and adjusted as needed, they would have been good scopes.

Got mine today. Outside cardboard was in a worse state than garyblueboy's, but transport case well protected by the styrofoam (or whatever) two price casing and was unmarked. Contents of case absolutely fine. I really like how the focusser end is protected in that one piece foam insert.

Even managed to get 45 mins outside with it before the clouds rolled in - what I saw was enough to really hint at its potential. Can't wait for a proper night out though.

Loads easier to manage than the Istar 150 f10 too... . Case is a bit of a monster though!

The case is definitely a rocket launcher proportional item I’m looking forward to first light when ever that may be weather looks appalling for next week or so
