Mand1
After many years lusting after a Coronada PST, I finally took a gamble and bid on a used one. I was a little disappointed when it arrived as the box was faded and the scope was dull and dusty. After a good clean it came up looking great. Reading about the itf issues with age, I decided to remove the eyepiece holder to check it. Luckily it is not too bad. I bought a Hyperion 8-24 zoom to use with it, and have already had some fantastic sights. Really didn’t expect thing to change so quickly up there but everyday has been different. Seen a huge prom, and what I thought was a hair in the optics turned out to be on the surface as imaged so well on here by somebody. Roll on summer..
Paul73
The humble PST can give some great views. You’ve paired it with a great solar eyepiece too. Enjoy the show! Paul
