As a new member I would like to thank all the contributors for the advice on what telescope to buy. After researching and following the advice on this website I received my Skywatcher 130P Autotrack on Tuesday but as yet I have not been able to use it because of the constant cloud cover. Being a complete novice to astronomy this website has already been a great help.

Hehe - get used to that, it seems to be a side-effect of getting new equipment - courier calls at the down, cloud and rain for at least a week!
