Mars 12th Sep

Possibly my best Mars image to date, taken early morning on the 12th.

Celestron C11 at f/20. ASI174MM.

Good fun to use the superb BAA website map to identify some of the features.

Olympus Mons is just visible in the northern plains.

Nice shot! reflects what I saw at the eyepiece last night, except much smaller of course.

I didn't use a filter for this shot, just plain white light.

Thanks. I did process it quite a bit, but I try and avoid creating the bright limb that often appears due too sharpening
