I am loving the Samyang 135 lens

Hi stargazers 

as the title suggests, I am loving the wide field and speed offered by this lens.

this is a crop of the elephants trunk in the larger nebula region IC 1396

the image is a total of about 3.5hours each Ha and Oiii. 
I could do with more Oiii to bring out the blues but the weather as usual doesn’t want me to! 
camera Atik 490

Filters astrodon 5nm 

Mount Azeq6 

processing, APP, Starnet, photoshop, topaz denoise, then tweaked on my phone with ps express. 

This is a toned down version, my first had brighter colours but I like the muted tones better

aperture was 2 clicks off fully open, 2.8, I think? 
exposure lengths were mainly 300s with a few 360’s thrown in towards the end of the session 😊

That is just beautiful! you are right in your choice to desaturate a bit, I have to agree, I love the tone.

V nice, I can see why these lenes are so popular. Started saving for one myself but spent the cash on something else, will have to start the fund again!
