Sol 22 June 2020 - First Light for LuntLS60

The Sun today and first light for my Lunt LS60 for imaging.

 

Full disc taken 16:17:05 UT

Prominence on NE limb 16:34:14 UT

 

Images taken from North Essex using the following equipment;

• Lunt LS60TH1/B1200CPT Hydrogen Alpha Solar Scope
• ZWO ASI174mm camera
• SkyWatcher SolarQuest Mount
• 2.5x Powermate for prominence image
• Captured using SharpCap Pro, stacked using AutoStakkert.
• Processed using imPPG, Affinity Photo and PixInsight.

200 frames for each target with 75% being used for the full disc and 25% for the prominence. Amazed that the full disc produced 75% of frames above 75% quality.
