HELP!!! EQ6 and PHD2 trouble

Dear fellow stargazers,

this hobby is driving me MAD!!! I rePHD2_GuideLog_2020-05-24_132916.txtPHD2_DebugLog_2020-05-24_132916.txtally need help. Last night i managed to get a good  polar aligment. But when my rig pointed to the far west, PHD started to talk about "not being able to to move far enough in DEC" and suddenly huge errors in DEC showed up which then gradually got back under control. This happened like 4 times or so before M5 moved to the far west behind trees. What is happening here? I am attaching the PHD2 logs. Please help!!

The PHD2 Log file only has the header, no data.

The time stamp is 13:29, I'd expect a late evening time stamp?

Hello Michael,

thanks again! Looks like PHD2 overwrites its log files for the current day at startup 😬.  I found out i had PHD2 set to max correction step=0.2 x sidereal speed. That was not enough in all cases. I increased that parameter to 0.9 and now the problem is solved. Yay!
