Horsehead a year on

I havent imaged this for a year so as i had a clear patch tonight i thought i would have a go.

18x 5 min subs on the FLT and SXVH9 with a 7nm Baader Ha filter

I was going to go fo some 10 min subs but there were too many clouds whizzing past ,so they can wait

Very nice. That's on my list as well. I would like to try it through my LX, but I think I will go with the Megrez first until I can get the guiding of the LX down.

I still think its amazing that me sitting here in a light pollouted garden in Kent can produce images of targets that there is no way i could ever see visually
