clear as a bell the sky today.

How could I manage to resist,

this glorious sight above me.

I used the C80ED on a tripod,

Put the camera up the spout,

with the 2x teleconverter,

to fill the frame with lunar light.

Cheers Ron, it was shot at about 0800 this morning. With the combo of scope and TC I lose quite a bit of light, thus the quite slow shutter speed, then in RAW processing, a boost of contrast and a couple of other small tweaks. The processing was only done in Aperture, no PS work at all.

Great image John,

The younger generation of "pro's" keep criticising me for framing in the camera as they now shoot wide and crop with their multi mega pixel DSLR's .... I know a few who don't bother keeping their lenses that clean as well as they just clean them up in the post processing...they never had to cope (and possibly couldn't anyway) with the limits of shooting 35mm transparencies...

thats that of me chest! :(

Billy...
