The moon as I've never seen it !

Nothing too serious here. Hope no one is offended. I like combining images where possible and combined this one of a sunset shot on the North Norfolk Coast with a shot through the ed100 at prime focus with a dslr. I know the lighting angles are all wrong e.t.c. Several people said they like it so thought you may be interested. Surprising what you do when it's cloudy !!

Regards , Trevor

Thanks for the comments. I told a local camera club I took this with a telephoto lens from a church tower. I live about 20 miles away so it would have been some lens !! If anyone wants it for a desktop or anything else please use it

Pity the moon is not that big. It would make imaging a doddle, Trevor

I like artistic shots Trevor, i think astronomy can be very artistic, not just scientific, its what really got me involved in astronomy in the first place, appreciating the beauty, the light, the colours, the tones, all artistic concepts, i find the science interesting to. But in many ways am still really hooked on the beauty of it all.

perhaps theres a world somewhere in the universe Trevor where a moon really is that close, showing detail that can be seen with the eye like this. this could be more accurate than many would give it credit for. either way i like it, i think it looks great. nice job
