Copernicus and Clavius

Managed a couple more tonight although the seeing was awful and high misty cloud rolled in towards the end of the session.

Taken with the f/6.3 10" newt and QHY5, Copernicus with a 2x Tal barlow, Clavius with a 3x Tal barlow.

Excellent shots Ian they are very detailed especially like the Clavius one.

Those Tal barlows are pretty good for the money.

The picture of Clavius is very detailed with a crisp but natural-looking quality that if very hard to achieve - well done.

Well I'm pretty close to you (on the Herts-Beds border) and it was terrible, although I have heard it said that seeing can be very localised. To get anything to stack I had to load the files into vdub and manually delete about 70% of the frames
