New Baader Maxbright is about to be released

I have just read a post on CN which shows the new Baader Maxbright binoviewer, and it looks pretty good. Availability seems imminent . Prisms are 27mm, clicklock eyepiece holders with adjustable diopters.

More pictures will be available soon. This was announced today I believe.

Price.... 425 euros

Definitely plugs the gap between the Chinese and more expensive units. Nice and light compared with the MkV too. But looks like the GPC will put another £80 on the price.

Although I'm (sadly) not in the market for another binoviewer at the moment, I'm delighted to hear about this new Baader product😊.

I remember that the Morpheus 17.5mm took around 3 years to get right, but it was worth the wait, and Baader do seem to put a lot of time and effort into their R&D programs.

I look forward to reading reviews, and the thought of the views of Orion etc through this new BV loaded with a pair of 35mm pseudo Masuyamas is truly mouthwatering!
