Clear skies here at the moment and the forecast has it that way until 2am.

If it holds out my plan is to grab a few hours worth of OIII on M27 whilst working on stacking in oalive.

I was hoping to have addressed the mess that is my guiding after a meridian flip before now, but I've failed miserably in that ambition.  Fortunately I think M27 should be west of the meridian fairly early on.  Need to check that now.

Yes.  Stellarium shows it passing the meridian at about 10:15pm, so that should be fine.

Got a good clear forecast for a few hours here too, shame I'm at work till around 2am tonight and tomorrow

Unexpectedly clear here so far, but for how long is anyone's guess.

Imaging run under way here, but I'm not particularly impressed with the state of the sky.   I think there's some high-level haze about.

Yes, transparency is poor here too, MW barely visible, if at all. Moon's setting now but it had a lot of haze etc around it.

Running 3 hours of RGB subs, but don't know if they'll be usable.

Just called it a night, myself.  Got a good couple of hours in on M27 and spent some time working on oalive with a camera and telescope actually pointing at real stuff which has helped find a load of problems that I now need to go and sort out

Just checked the weather and it's supposed to be clear tomorrow night, too.  I shall have to get myself organised and find a new target for the 80ED, just in case.

In case anyone else cares though, for some years I've been working on an open-source imaging application for Linux and MacOS, mostly for planetary and lunar/solar, called oacapture.  I've had a barely-started application more aimed towards EAA type use sitting around for some time that I've been putting a lot more work into over the last six months.  It shares a large amount of code with oacapture, but the UI is different.  That's oalive.
