I may have been a bit premature calling it AR2741 as I don't think it's been formally classified yet.

Its been classified now, A/R2741 it is. Looks a good size as well, might be a few days before us in Uk get some decent views unfortunately.

They are looking really nice today, got some good detail, the weather has changed

for the better here, it's about time.

Started viewing with ha scope but I found best views of the day we're at 160x white light with binoviewer. Far from perfect seeing but short periods of stability showed lovely detail.
