Comet 46P/Wirtanen

We have Comet! Stack of 90 minutes of 2 minute subs, during which the comet crossed a third of the vertical field of view! This helped DSS do an excellent job of separate star and comet stacking, although there was a bit of a pale patch in the star image I had to remove. 130P-DS on HEQ5 with Canon 450D (modded and cooled).

That's very clear. If it is traveling right to left do you want to rotate the image 180 I see a what I'd all most describe as a tail at 11pm.

I agree there's a trace of extension, if not a tail. It is pointing the 'correct' direction - it's a bit hard to visualise but 'away from the sun' is mostly 'into' the picture and slightly up and to the left.
