No. Quite a mixture to get to this image. I did an auto stack in ASfinity Photo for the star background, then a manual stack in AP for the comet head - saved both as 16 bit tif files. Open these in PS CS3 to remove the comet from the star background and overlay the comet head - blend mode lighten. I tried to make an animation but that has failed miserably so far. I haven't used DSS for ages, finding PS easier.

Thanks Sara, Probably the convoluted stacking process this ended up with. I though PI would handle it but all sorts of problems there. Finally a mix of Afinity Photo and PS CS3...
