Lunar/Saturn conjunction

Lovely view in the sky at the moment. A wide field eyepiece will bring the Moon and Saturn both into view. Saturn sure is small! Shared the view with the neighbours - seeing people’s reactions to their first view of Saturn or the lunar craters never gets old! 

Hope others have a chance to see it too! ?

@Jonk Making use of the grab and go set up between showers, although it’s starting to look like a big clear patch now, so hopefully will clear over your way too.

I just used my grab and go too (10 x 50 bins) as everything else is packed up at the moment.

I had to look hard for Saturn but it's there!

Clouded over again but worth a look as the earthshine looks fantastic at the moment, even with bins.

An incredible sight here in central Florida.

Had to fight with a light breeze, high clouds moving in and out plus contrails, but worth the fight. Looked at Mars a few minutes, but concentrated my time in Luna and Saturn.

Took photos with 8" Orion, Canon camera using eyepiece projection. Won't look at them in the computer till tomorrow. Cameras out clicking away hoping for a Taurid or two.
