Smartphone images, Samsung S9

I had some fun with the Tak and Samsung S9 last night, using the Fonemate adaptor and 24mm Panoptic. Used the standard camera app, plus PS Express to get rid of Moon glare mostly.

Moon looked nice, a pink colour presumably due to the low altitude.

Double Cluster, lovely through the eyepiece with those dozens of tiny, delicate stars showing through, not too shabby in the image.

NGC457, a favourite of mine came out well.

Brocchi's Cluster and M45 could both have benefited from a wider field, should be possible when I get my Nexus adaptor hopefully.

Likewise M57 could use alot more mag, same solution but even so, the tiny ring shape can be seen.

I did a few Lunar photos with my old Samsung note 3 the other night as well, its amazing what can be images can be captured just "hand held"

A Rewarding night you've had Stu. It's quite amazing what can be 
done with phone cameras these days. 
The S9 allied to your Tak. makes a very useful combo. and 
you will probably inspire others to have a go too.
