M33 L-HA/R-G_B *re-edit*

Another from last night.

and again rushed colour this time because the scope was on a collision course with the pier.

25 @ 5 Min's for the L

10 @ 10 Min's Ha

7 @ 2.5 Min's bin x 2 for the RGB

The colour on this has not come out anywhere near what I was expecting but I do like it. never the less I will be returning to this for some more colour data and try again.

Excellent result Mike the Ha regions look great . It's a really difficult one to process and you have done a great job

Looking very good Mike despite the lack of colour detail. The Lum and Ha are looking very clean and that's showing a nice end result. It'll be helped on with more colour when it comes

Excellent, Mike - this is a difficult object to image as there is little to 'hang you hat on' but you have captured the essence of it

I had another look at the data and this time added the Ha to the red with the Ha layer set to "Lighten" this has helped keep more of the red data for the background which as helped no end in presenting a more natural look and still enhancing the Ha.

That is really sweet now Mike, great resolution on those hot blue star zones (can't remember the name for these different galaxy zones). The colour looks spot on to me. The lighten blend mode is definitely the way to go when adding Ha and has worked a treat here
