Hi everyone

Everything we're told never to do... Less than 24 hours to lunar eclipse, 1/2 hour either side of astro-darkness and sensor over 30º.  Rules are there to... Oh, and  just love the definition of those Bresser mirrors:)

Thanks for looking, but hey, not nearly enough snaps on here recently. Get your gear out of storage and get imaging!

Yeah, we find dithering essential. We've just switched to Siril for stacking -and the sigma rejection thingy- and find its algorithms fast, clean and efficient. It helps a lot with the noise.

I agree that a cool sensor is probably easier but I think modern methods go a long way toward obviating the outlay of €silly that they be purchased;) Now, where was the publicity for that asi294 I saw recently!!
