Hello everyone. I'm interested in starting AP, And would like to know which camera to purchase. Even though I don't  know much about camera's either I looked at the canon T6 because of the kit it comes with on Amazon and it's inexpensive. Thanks

I use a Nikon DSLR, but I have read that, on balance, Canon DSLRs have the edge for astrophotography. Perhaps someone else on this site has in-depth knowledge of the T6, but I would also suggest that you try your favourite search engine with "Canon T6 astrophotography".

Of DSLR brands I believe astronomy software support is better for Canon cameras.

Over here that's the 1300D. You might want to consider getting an astro modified camera if you are going to be taking long exposure images of nebula.

I have the 1300D, it works okay and is affordable. Do a search on Astrobin.

What is your budget? What equipment do you already have? What are your intended targets? These questions can help with the advice given.

Without knowing the answers I'd still recommend a canon 600D, decent QE, reasonable noise and a swivel screen which is a life saver.

I can't recommend this highly enough for your first astro camera, great software support for Canons.
