thanks wookie but dont think these are for the heq5 as the plate is only 20mm thick but the depth on the mount is 18mm if anyone can confirm from my attached pdf cheers

That's right.  The adaptor is just flipped to accommodate various types of mount including the HEQ5 and EQ6 (AZ EQ6 too).
