Hi Every one,

A couple of nights ago I was blessed with 3 hours of clear skies

It was a last minute type of deal as I was not expecting clear skies

and it sort of caught me off guard, so quickly got the gear set up

and what should have been 4 hours worth of data ended up being

3 hours due to some usb issue with the guide camera.

this is a combination of 5minute and 7 minute lights for 90 minutes

and 3 minutes subs rgb 33 minutes on each, there was a tiny amount

of haze in the sky which came and went over the 3 hours that softened

the image some what, which is a shame, and I could have done with the extra

hour, but taking what I can get I ended up with this.

star 71 / atik ef2 filter wheel / on a Eq6gt

clear skies

Nice soft touch on the processing. Very attractive.

Olly

Thanks Olly,  with the limited amount of data I had, I didn't want to over

do it, I think all things considered it was probably the way to go on

this.

very nice Paul :thumbright: some nice detail in those dust lanes.i am still amazed at how big this galaxy is i tried it thursday night and its going to be a 9 panel mosaic with the 200pds lol i gat 2 panels ha ha

Thanks Chris, It will be a massive undertaking for sure with the 200pds, especially

with our weather, It would be a lovely target for a long term project though.

In saying that, M31 will be with us for a couple of months or more, so it

is doable.
