Star request?

So I'm still fairly new to observing stars.

My 60mm telescope seems to have so far have very good optics. I wish to test its resolving power. The Dawes limit of my 60mm telescope is 1.93 seconds of arc. 

Does anyone know of a double star that is about 1.93 seconds of arc apart?

Have you tried the Double Double yet Dave? Epsilon Lyrae which has two pairs at 2.4" and 2.2"?

I don't know of one offhand but Epsilon Lyrae (the "double double") is getting close to that and is well placed, good to try a few inside the telescopes limit before going for the closest possible.

Thanks for the suggest guys. I thought I had looked at the double double before, but I don't think I did in reflection. So am going to give it another go.

Give it a go Dave. I've done it with both a 60mm apo and a 65mm Newt. I'm sure @cotterless45 will be able to name you a few just under 2"

Not sure on the exact measurements but mizar is a double double..Alberio is awesome

Already split Mizar and Alcor, they look very nice in the 60mm. Yes I like looking at Alberio easy fodder for my 60mm.

Mizar and Alcor can be split with the naked eye on a good night. Mizar itself is a telescopic Double but quite easily split still at 14.4 arc seconds, much wider than the components of the Double Double.
