Putting the Skymax 102 through its paces. UPDATED

I captured 14gb of Lunar data with Jules' Mak this evening. It'll take a while to process it all as we're busy this weekend but here's a start.

Quick 40 frames at dusk, 1/400s ISO 100. Pipp>Registax>IMPPG>Photoshop, and no fringing. Very happy.

Of to a great start, with this, the airplane shot and the great Sol images, and will only get better as you build an affinity with the Mak

Here's another one. This time from just before dark.

First one I'm truly happy with. Captured once it was dark proper. I captured 200 frames but only 10% were usable - the moon was still low and picking up thermals from the side of the house by this time and I couldn't be bothered to move the gear.

However, for 20 frames, it's nice and sharp and a good amount of detail to pull out. I've shrunk the final image because of noise but that's understandable with only 20 frames.

I still have a lot to learn about processing the data from this little beauty but so far so good. I'll play with the barlowed shots next.

John, you are really getting to grips with the little Mak in a very short time, i am really looking forward to up coming images, remember the golden rule with Maks ....cool down though it looks like your on it
