Saturns Storm

Hi Peeps,

Just got in from a very enjoyable Observing/Imaging session, tonights high light was the Mighty Saturn showing some splendid details at the Eyepiece 40mm EP+2X Shorty Plus Barlow(3 Elements). The Moons were exceptional too esp in just the 40MM EP alone, lot's of details in the bands of Saturn too with a remarkable sighting of a Storm as witnessed by Damien too also Imaged.

To say i am chuffed with the following image is an understatement been after a decent image for ages and now i think i have one . Image was captured using the LX200 10" SCT mounted on HEQ5 mount,Toucam Pro SC1.5 and 2x Shorty Barlow were used to image Saturn.

Image is a stack of 2000 Frames auto selected in Registax 3 and then processed in Photoshop CS.

Settings were GAIN 70% BRIGHTNESS 50% GAMMA 20% SHUTTER 1/25 SATURATION 30%.

Well done James, Just been on the other thread to Saturns storm.

And I think that yourself & Damien have got more detail than the article's image.
