And for my next trick, an animated flare in 2645

Actually it's my last trick,and not my best...  This is the rest of the processing from the magic day yesterday. Unfortunately, the flare appeared at exactly the same time as cloud and associated terrible seeing, so I had to grab what I could over a 12 minute period. Also some newtons rings crept in too, and I can't blame the weather for that. probably due to the barrel of the eyepiece not being screwed in firmly enough.

Very nice indeed. Missed that particular flare, but spotted a lot of action in AR2644 as it turns the corner. I have been able to grab a lot of solar data today. Lots going on at the moment. Will post stuff later
