I am trying to capture Venus at every available chance at the moment. Its appearance is changing so quickly at the moment. The phase is already down to 11.5% from 15.1% on the 2nd.

Taken with my C9.25/Asi120mm + 642 filter & x1.8 Barlow. 10,000 frames, stacking 20% in A/S2.

Looking at the weather forecast for this week I didn't expect any opportunities this week at all. The only reliable forecast is the "look out of the back door" and see if its clear one!

Lovely image!  

I always marvel at how bright Venus is in our skies, despite how little of the planet is actually illuminated.  Hope you get the 2-3% shot...

It is less than 7.5% this weekend,  so hopefully there will be at least a few gaps in the cloud's.
