Sunsets and a solar pilar (is there such a thing).

Justgoing through my phone and copying some of the images that I had onto the PC. Found these that I thought I'd share.

The phone is a Nokia something.

The sunsets must have caught my eye at the time, so I doubt thathe camera reall did them much justice!

Were those taken on the Island Ant?. I don't see any murky skies I used to remember.

Coryton Refinery used to put a grey veil over the place. Perhaps it has all changed now, I'm going back years.

I knew that there was such a things as a Sun Pilar - knew I'd read it somewhere - thanks Carol.

The first image and forth image onwards were taken from my office window. You can see the little pond/lake (when does a pond become a lake?). The other two Ron, were taken while driving home on the A130 going onto the island.
