Here's a shot of the moon I took last year with my ETX90 and the Meade LPI it's 11 images joined together in photoshop the full size version has been printed out at A3 size and looks great (in my opinion), hope you enjoy, all comments welcome.

what have you done to get the detail out like that ? when i try to sharpen anything, it turns out pretty cack

Hi Col here is the process i used to sharpen this image.

1 OPENED THE IMAGE IN PHOTOSHOP

2 ADJUSTED THE CONTRAST THEN SAVED AS A BMP

3 OPENED THE SAVED IMAGE IN REGISTAX 3

4 ADJUSTED THE 2nd WAVELET TO 8.5

5 THEN JUST SAVED THE IMAGE AS IT WAS

6 OPENED THE FINAL IMAGE IN PHOTOSHOP

AND SAVED IT AS A PNG FILE TO ACCOMODATE THE UPLOAD TO ISEE STARS .

Job done.

Hang on Col but you can download Registax 3 for free.

And as for the other processes i just mentioned you can do all

that in Elements too.

theres a lot in elelments i havnt even looked at yet,seems to be loads for such a basic programme,ill have to try and put a bit of time in to try some other things on it. thanks ill put a search in for registax now, didnt realise it was free, or didnt remember, cant remember which one?
