Hazy with reasonable seeing, I captured 200 frames. Stacked 100 of them in AS!2. Post in Registax and Photoshop.

Thanks Reggie, funnily enough I used Aristarchus and the little craterlets to the south east of it to focus in the live view.

Cheers Rich, I forgot to reply on your thread about processing. You want to put your frames through pipp in full disk mode if they're not perfectly aligned already, then AS!2 or Registax to stack.

Assume you've worked that out already though.

Thanks John, I've given up on Registax (continuous out of memory error). I'll have another go at last evening's lot.

Changing part of the kit for today.  rigged up the EQ3-2 to take the Tamron, so hopefully can get around the wind shake.

This was the first area I looked at as it is a favourite area of mine.
