Rubber Grips for SW Focuser Wheels

Dear All

I was wondering where I can obtain replacement rubber grips (which have perished) for a SW 80 ED focuser this is one of the older single speed  

ones (in white) which is ok ... the slightly upgraded version on my ST150 has rigid rubber type grips to the wheels.

I used bicycle tyre inner tubes cut into slices to replace mine - these were obtained free from a local bicycle shop - they thought I was nuts (probably right!) but were happy to assist!

I have the same problem and apparently the way to go is to use several O-Rings just making sure the internal diameter of the O-Ring is slightly smaller than the focuser.Should need maybe about 5 each side.They look neat and shouldn't need replacing.

Many Thanks All  .... I chickened out and went for the Astro B option .... currently only need one

so that at least gives me a spare ... I can remember obtaining them some 10 yrs ago but cannot recall from where !
