Final moon 23-12-16 - Complete rework..

Afternoon all,

Finished the total reprocess of the data I got early Thursday morning..

First is ISO100 1/40 46 from over 450 images after some ruthless cutting of frames..  With the EOS 750D and 102mm F11 Achro..

Soft in a lot of ways but biggest issue was seeing being all over the place!

Second is the same but at 1/50..

Both run through PiPP, registax 6 (tried AS2 but prefere the layout of RS6) and wavlets black magic in RS6.. touched up in Photo Pro4

Steve, a very nice Luna image to end the year, 1016 has been a poor year for me but i do have great plans for 2017 and further on

Have a superb Xmas and we will have to sort that session at Mukar

Living in the past ? not having a 120 can be a bit disorientating

I did tell jules to get a AR127L, but hes got ed120 fever .

Jules, many thanks and season greetings to you and Claire.. pleased you appear to be settled on the 120ed pleased for you! Will be up for the trip again, we could do with another star party Yorkshire way!

I like the look of the 127ed that grumpy has on sale at the moment but with the wedding I can't justify it.. unless I sold all 3 of my scopes.. not sure I want to go down that route yet though... 

I almost deleted all those raw frames, but glad I had another go with them...
