One was taken with the Sun at about its highest point and the other as it disappeared behind the chimney pots about 5 hours later 

Plus the fact that I didn't spend any time on the processing :grin:

I have found that the view brightens as the sun rises. For a long animation this can be frustrating in post processing. However, using the mean brightness in the histogram window of photoshop (and curves to adjust the mean brightness) more or less resolved that issue for me... although it is a lot of work!
